Login and Pay with Amazon lets shoppers pay for products on participating websites using existing Amazon account credentials. Merchants end up getting more information on their customers, while customers can buy without having to enter their information multiple times.

The VP of Amazon’s eCommerce Services Group, Mike Carr, will lead a live webinar discussion on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. EST, about how and why secure login services like this can save businesses millions of dollars. Carr will discuss:

– Understanding the benefits of Social Login
– Understanding the different identity provider offerings
– How to capture 95%+ consent on your site

Sign up and attend the webinar here, but don’t worry if you miss it because we’ll send you a recorded version of it later.

One company already planning to ingtegrate Amazon’s new payment offering is GoGo, the in-flight wifi provider, which already uses Amazon’s regular payment services.

Login and Pay with Amazon helps replace guest checkouts with recognized customers, which will hopefully lead to improved services including: managing and tracking orders, purchase history detail, special discounts, instant access to shipping addresses and payment methods.

Check it out – should be beneficial to all you omni-channel retailers out there considering new, updated payment options that make it easier to win conversions from your online visitors.
