Infographic Alert: How Much do Online Jobs Really Pay?

Online jobs are gaining more and more popularity, especially in our over-populated world, where the thought of braving an hour+ commute is nothing short of treacherous.

But how much are people willing to sacrifice in order to secure a job that will pay them for working from home? Staff.com surveyed oDesk, a large online jobs platform, to compare the asking salaries for various online jobs, and came up with the infographic below. A few highlights:

– For web development, the US clocked in the highest, at $46 per hour
– The lowest per hour pay for web development is in the Philippines, where it averages $14 per hour
– The global average for data entry jobs is only $10 per hour
