eTail 2012’s Best-in-Class Winners Innovate in Social, Mobile, Email & Search

eTail awards lunch

eTail West 2012 honored a slew of excellent companies in its second annual eTail Best-in-Class Awards celebration, held at the conference in Palm Springs, Calif.

I had the pleasure of speaking with several of the winners, not just about how glowing they were from their win, but about the nitty gritty of the programs that got them there. See, these awards are about delivering innovative, successful marketing campaigns that break the mold in multi-channel retail. I wanted to know a little more about how they did what they did, and what drove them to do it.

But before we get into some of their comments, let’s break down the winners. They were announced in four categories, which were: Mobile, Social Media, Search and E-mail. They were nominated by technology providers and retailers alike, and winners were chosen based on each program’s goals, execution and results. Congratulations to our winners and the honorable mentions:

I was lucky enough to catch up with some of our winners, one of whom was Hautelook. For the interview with Greg Bettinelli, SVP, Marketing, follow this link.

Winners of the awards were honored during a luncheon on February 28 and received three complimentary passes to attend the eTail West conference for all four days, as well as three nights hotel stay at the JW Marriott Palm Springs.

Stay tuned for comments from other award winners, namely Domino’s Pizza, which stole the show when they ordered a pizza to the session room while presenting at the conference, and live tracked its arrival to the hotel!
