Technology is almost always a hurdle, no matter what industry you’re in. For eCommerce folks, technology can be a hurdle, it can be intimidating and confusing – but more importantly, it is necessary for business. Right now, one of the main concerns of e-retailers and their technologies is how to best utilize them in social and mobile strategies.
Bernardine Wu, CEO of Fit for Commerce, moderated some panels at Luxury Interactive and she thinks that retailers are grappling with this, among other concerns, and will have to go through periods of trial and error where they see what works for their customer.
