According to Pam Barker, writer for E-Commerce Times, the year of mobile commerce, as it’s been called, may never come to be. Instead, it will morph into something else entirely and “in the years after the mobile generation, content will be king, and the device will not matter.”
Still, her story goes on to say that this doesn’t mean current devices will necessarily measure up. Industry experts like Albert Chu, vice president of global alliances at Access, say that electronics manufacturers, software developers and service providers “will need to create platforms, solutions and services that will drive the next 10 billion connected devices – and associated services and e-commerce – to market.”
What do you think about the article’s claim?
I think this year the ad platforms are coming on…2011 and 2012 should start scaling up.
mobile commerce will have an increasing trend in the following years.,.~

mobile commerce would definitely grow in the next decade;..
I dunno if mobile commerce can really take off like e-commerce on the internet…
