HSN Becomes Only Multi-channel Retailer with Two TV Networks

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida – HSN has announced plans to launch HSN2, a second 24-hour TV shopping channel offering customers a curated assortment of encore airings of HSN’s “must-see” programming, to premiere Aug. 1 on DISH Network.

For the first several months, HSN2 plans to focus on feedback from viewers and customers and respond accordingly.

The channel will serve as a platform to test ideas and develop business opportunities and programming for the new channel will be either complementary or counter to the programming on HSN.

“With different personalities, great brands and products airing simultaneously on each of our channels, customers will enjoy twice the entertainment, inspiration and discoveries,” said Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSN, Inc.
