We’ve got another hot infographic coming our way – this one about engagement filtering behaviors for Gmail and Hotmail and reasons why subscribers might start glazing over your emails. The graphic comes from Litmus, an email testing and marketing analytics provider, and kindly shared it with us. Here’s what we found interesting:
– 77% of consumers said they’ve become more guarded about giving out their email addresses in the past year
– 25% of those surveyed said they unsubscribe from emails because the content is irrelevant, 24% said they preferred to seek information on their own
